S/Y SUNNY LAGOON
We present our flagship catamaran, which we use for our winter season Caribbean cruises and our 2017 summer cruises between Sardinia and Corsica in the region of the Strait of Bonifacio. Our summer base is located in Olbia, Sardinia.
SUNNY LAGOON is a vessel created in the French dockyard of LAGOON. The LAGOON 39 model is an exquisite, luxurious catamaran which premiered in 2013. The structure is characterized by a dynamic, decisive yacht contour, emphasized by sharply pointed bows; it also features latest rigging solutions that facilitate the operation of the vessel. Lagoon 39 is a very elegant, safe catamaran that attracts attention with its modern design.
Cockpit:
The large, comfortable cockpit surprises with its scale when measured against the size of the catamaran. The skipper has great visibility from the wheelhouse on the starboard. The capstans have been installed nearby the skipper’s post, which, along the self-tacking genoa sail enables the boat to be operated by a single crew member. Lagoon 39 is a model representing the latest line by the French shipyard.
Deck:
Between the catamaran’s bows, there is a trampoline net with mattresses. Broad half-decks ensure free movement between the bow and the stern. The skipper is sheltered from the sun with a foldable bimini. The cockpit comes with sun canopies. The stern is equipped with cranes for the motor pontoon.
Interior:
The comfortable interior of Lagoon 39 is bright and features simple geometric forms, adorned with fine, warm, top quality materials that, combined with subdued fabrics underline the harmonious structure of the vessel. Clearly delineated horizontal lines provide the entire hull with unique character, stretching along the deck and creating an effect of spaciousness and lightness. Characteristically large panoramic windows provide ample visibility and access to natural light, while protecting from sharp sunlight. The yacht is equipped with 4 comfortable cabins with bathrooms..
