S/Y AQUAHOLIC
We present our flagship vessel, which we will use for our 2017 summer cruises between Sardinia and Corsica in the region of the Strait of Bonifacio. Our summer base is located in Olbia, Sardinia.
The AQUAHOLIC yacht was built in the French dockyard Dufour. The Dufour 485 Grand Large model by Umberto Felci and Patrick Roseo is a stylish yacht capable of quick sailing while remaining comfortably equipped. The vessel is an eye-catcher thanks to its smooth contour and minute bow overhead in the mold of regatta units, topped by a large stern platform and a special raft locker. The stern also has a foldable bathing platform.
Unsurprisingly, Aquaholic’s large cockpit (maximum yacht width is 4.7 m) has been moved to the middle of the yacht, facilitating sail attendance. Dufour 485 GL has been designed for cruises with sparse crews, and may be operated by as few as two sailors. The skipper has great visibility while tending to double steering wheels. Grand Large is Dufour’s most comfortable line.
Deck:
The deck and the cockpit are covered with teak wood. The bow is equipped with an electric anchor lift and a retractable bowsprit for the gennaker sail. Broad half-decks ensure free movement between the bow and the stern. The front of the cockpit is covered with a foldable canopy that protects it from waves and wind; the skipper is also sheltered from the sun with a foldable bimini. Around the cockpit, 6 capstans have been installed for cordage operation. The stern is equipped with cranes for the motor pontoon.
The vessel is equipped with a basic set of sails: genoa 140% and main sail; for those willing to sail at greater speed, we also have a spinnaker and gennaker sails. When sailing with fuller winds, we use a foresail and storm foresail.
Interior:
The yacht comes with 3 large, spacious cabins with bathrooms.
